Is DISCC an international organization ?

<p>DISDISCC is an  Indian organization, started and managed from 1991 by  Dr TULSI with a team of Indian persons. Financial resources  are mostly coming through donations from Europe and U.S.<br />Where ever the support is coming from, we consider that when <br />a child needs help, there are no boundaries for helping him or her. </p>

What are your financial resources ?

DISCC is receiving donations through international and national &amp; social organizations ;
Also Individuals who are visiting our center and projects.
We invite anyone who wish to discover our projects to visit us.
When you are coming to VARANASI, please give us a phone call.
From children side, we do our best with sales of different products such as candles, greeting cards, pedestals, bed sheets, book marks etc and through fund raising programs.

Also from individuals who are visiting our centre and projects. Income from DISCC members who rent Panshkot house.

An outstanding way to discover Varanasi and also to contribute to our projects

If you want to discover Varanasi not as a tourist but from an Indian side you are invited to rent our premises on Panshkot Ghat with eleven windows on Ganga an outstanding place. All incomes from Pansckot house premises are integraly given to DISCC.

We invite anyone who is coming to VARANASI to discover and visit our projects. Anybody who is interested to visit DISCC projects is very welcome. Please email or give us a phone call to let us know your planning.

Does DISCC receive government funding for its activities ?

Till now DISCC has not received any government funds to run his programmes.

In 1999 DISCC received grant from the government after being selected and certified to run one month Bridge Course to qualify teachers who were working in the field of Mental Retardation (M.R.).
Those educators who were selected and followed the course received their license of Special Education Teacher to work in the field of M.R.

What is the philosophy of the organization ?

The philosophy is very simple:
BE HONEST AND BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. HAVE PATIENCE AND RESPECT OTHERS AS THEY ARE.CONSIDER YOUR WORK AS A FORM OF WORSHIP.

• If you can manage to raise funds in your country.
  We can tell you what we can do with it showing you our programs.
• If you speak fluently English and even better Hindi, you can also help us if you have special knowledge concerning one of our programs.

Panschkot house

From 2007 one flat is at your disposal for Deva Europe and DISCC members.
Eleven windows on the Ganga facing the sunrise.
One bedroom, a Main room and dining with American Kitchen and balcony.

Rent will integrally be given to DISCC for helping our projects.
